A Good Excuse

To my one affirmed reader (me), this is why I haven't been posting here lately:

time - homework - studying - tidbits = 0

For the non-affirmed, the reason I haven't been posting is that I have no time because of work relating to school. It isn't that I am having a hard time, just that there is so much to do. I do love being god, that will keep drawing me back, so do not worry all you visceral souls amongst yonder clouds.

Soupy Anchors

The nature of the things pulling me away from the web make them good things to write about, and so I shall try to here. So here's an attempt at updating from a null reference point (i.e. there have been spotty disclosures up to this time):

AP History - I saw the train coming, I disliked the approaching train, but it is a train. I was ready for the work, but not ready enough. I'm finding myself interested in little turtles and bunker hills more and more each day, but the accompanying work load is crushing. I want to engineer, write, and generally create new and interesting things, not take notes on history, however enthralling or useful.

Debate Club - An easy thing to sink time into, 'nuff said.

Robot Club - Finally! I wanted to yell that when I first heard the glorious proclamation on the daily intra-transmission within our school. For 10 years of formal education I have been wanting such an extracurricular activity, and now I finally have it. My nebulous technology contacts have finally proved to be useful in securing our humble club aid from abroad. We have been promised the likes of Boe-Bots and Propellers and other general things. It makes me happy.

Cortex Command - And now I come to the part that makes me ashamed, for all the awesomeness of this game it has distracted me from what really matters, my work. Soon it will make me proud, when I crack open its shining guts for tinkering and general exploration, but right now time is precious. Embedded LUA is a marvelous thing, and I expect to create great things from this platform in the future.

Oh, and btw, I've got a cold, hence the rumination on soup.
